Our fleet of hire bikes are all less than 2 years old and are maintained to industry standards by Cytech approved Mechanics.

Bikes are available to hire for a day, weekend or week(s).

All bike hires include:

• Emergency repair kit
• Local area map

Pre-booking is strongly recommended

Day Hire is offered from our East Bergholt Hire Centre.

Delivery & Collection Service to your holiday accommodation or a local train station is available 365 days a year, by advance arrangement.

Rugged all terrain bikes, great for exploring on road, trails, stoney beaches and of course off-road. These models are have 26” wheels, v-brakes, 21+ gears and lock-off suspension.

Standard Bike Plus

STANDARD BIKES PLUS

Comfy, touring bikes ideal for gentle exploring around town and country roads
& lanes. These bikes benefit from higher geometry allowing an upright ride position and great for taking in the sights. Various models in stock with gel seats, 700c wheels, V-brakes, 21+ gears, mudguards, kickstand and pannier racks.

Ladies and Gents frames available in sizes
to suit riders from 4’8” to 6’5” (142cm - 198cm)

Electric Bikes

max range of 40 miles (subject to power consumption and terrain). Min rider

Train or race with the ROUX R7 it has many class leading features and is a bike for riders who demand performance and style. The R7 has traditional double compact chainrings (50-34), 8 speed shimano cassette at the rear (12-25), Shimano STI integrated gear levers with Shimano 2300 front and rear.

Because some things are just better shared! We keep Adult + Child and Adult + Adult Tandems in MTB or Hybrid styles at both our Mersea and East Bergholt Hire Centres.

Childs Bike

20” & 24" wheels with v-brakes and multiple gears. Suitable for children aged 7 - 12 years old and able to ride without stabilisers. Can be paired with a trailgator for family rides that might push the younger riders endurance.

Premium Road Bike - Roux R7

TRAILGATOR

These ingenious devices connect a child's 20” bike to an adults bike allowing children to participate in family rides independently, if and when the child finds the going to much, simply ‘connect’ to the adult bike ‘tow’ the child.

Available with combined adult and child bike hires only.
